Inspiring Women Award is an initiative of Women In Leadership (WIL) to acknowledge the
unparalleled contribution of working women in our economy and society. Through recognition to
the deserving, this initiative will create inspiring female figures in the society to usher in a new
era of women leadership in Bangladesh.
Inspiring Women Award 2024 is the 8th edition of the endeavor. Nominations will be collected in
11 broad categories spanning various economic and social sectors. Nominees will be shortlisted
and selected for awards through a rigorous jury process.
By nominating oneself or a deserving candidate, you will be supporting our vision to inspire and
facilitate women's leadership in the country.
Categories
Aspiring Women Leader
The category inspires and celebrates emerging female leaders who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to leadership roles. This category aims to honor women who exhibit strong leadership qualities, innovative thinking, and a dedication to making a positive impact in their respective fields. Women leader who have an experience in the related field for a maximum of 4 years of experience.
Progressive Women Leader
The category celebrates women who inspire and drive meaningful advancements in various fields. The award acknowledges their achievements in promoting progressive values, empowering others, and contributing to the overall betterment of their communities and beyond. Women leader who has an experience in the related field for 5-9 years of experience.
Inspiring Women Leader
The "Inspiring Women Leader" award honors the remarkable achievements and contributions of women who have led with purpose and passion. The category recognizes outstanding female leaders who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication in their respective fields. Women leader who have an experience in the related field for more than 10 years of experience.
Leaders of Tomorrow
This category recognizes individuals who exemplify exceptional leadership qualities and demonstrate the potential to shape and influence the future positively and also have played an impactful role in their respected educational institutions. This category is for students from universities, who have an extraordinary track record.
Inspiring Women Entrepreneur (Social)
The category recognizes and celebrates women who have made significant strides in the entrepreneurial landscape with a focus on social impact. This category seeks to honor and encourage women who exemplify the intersection of entrepreneurship and social consciousness.
Inspiring Women Leader (Development)
The award seeks to honor those who have made significant contributions to the advancement of social, economic, and environmental development, serving as role models for future generations of women in the development sector.
Inspiring Women Leader (IT)
The award seeks to highlight women who have not only achieved professional success but have also shown dedication to mentoring and empowering others in the IT community. The category aims to acknowledge and encourage the positive impact of women leaders in shaping the future of technology.
Inspiring Women in Architecture
This category seeks to honor women who have been deeply involved and dedicatedly contributing to any form of art. Inspiring Women in Arts aims to acknowledge artists whose creative work has been able to create a positive impact on society and has been able to raise a significant amount of awareness against any social problems.
Inspiring Women Entrepreneur
The category recognizes and celebrates outstanding female entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and success in their respective industries. It aims to showcase the remarkable accomplishments of women who have excelled in entrepreneurship and serve as inspirations for future generations.
Inspiring Women Entrepreneur (Tech)
The category celebrates women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and impact in the technology sector. This award recognizes women who have successfully navigated challenges, shattered glass ceilings, and served as role models for aspiring female entrepreneurs in the technology domain.
Inspiring Female Led Start-Up
This category delves with groundbreaking startups led by visionary women. This accolade highlights entrepreneurs who have not only built thriving ventures but inspire through dedication, creativity, and industry commitment. Startups led by women, shaping industries with innovation and impact will be recognized under this category.
Best Initiatives Taken for Female
The Women in Leadership (WIL) Festival at this year's Inspiring Women Awards seeks to recognize and honor organizational initiatives undertaken between 2021 to 2023 aimed at fostering empowerment and cultivating an environment conducive to the advancement of female professionals. These endeavors are focused on nurturing a supportive ecosystem that enables women to unleash their full potential within the organization. Furthermore, there is an emphasis on showcasing the tangible impact of these initiatives.
Inspiring Women in Architecture
Acknowledging women's contribution in the field of architecture. This time Inspiring Women Award recognizes women architects who have left their mark on architectural history through innovative designs and visionary projects. Despite facing gender barriers and societal constraints. This category does not only recognize female architects who have designed iconic structures but have also advocated for social change and promoted inclusivity within the field. Through education and mentorship, they have inspired future generations of architects, fostering diversity and creativity.

- Once submitted for nomination by the organization, the candidate cannot withdraw from the evaluation process.
- Each entry will be evaluated by the judges on criteria set by the awarding authority.
- Nominees will be contacted by the organizers for further information (if required).
- If any provided information is found false or fabricated, the right of participation of the candidate will be revoked.
- To submit your nomination, kindly fill-up the Nomination Form and PowerPoint presentation based on the given template. Please download the Entry Kit from the website.
- WIL holds the ultimate authority to take any decision deemed necessary for the award.
- **One organization can nominate a maximum of five (5) candidates for each level.
- *** The submission fee of BDT 10,000 + 15% VAT (Not Applicable for Leaders of Tomorrow Category) for each entry must be paid online or via an A/C payee cheque made out to “Brandzeal” at the Bangladesh Brand Forum office. We encourage online payments, and the necessary system has already been developed and integrated into the online platform.
